Engage Literacy

Since September our Senior Infants and two First Classes have enjoyed several weeks of Engage Literacy, a brilliant programme to help develop the children’s blending, reading, and comprehension. The children have been working in small groups with our class teachers and Special Education Teachers focusing on the different skills needed to become excellent readers. We look forward to continuing this after Christmas. A big thank you to the parents who have been reading the books at home each night.
