Killeshin Girls are Cumann na mBunscol Roinn 1 Champions!! It was a fantastic occasion in O'Moore Park today. The girls won 4:05 to 1:05. We are all so incredibly proud of this team and all they have achieved. The girls worked tirelessly since September and put so much effort into training every single week. They showed brilliant resilience and determination. A huge thank you to all the supporters who travelled to the match today. It was wonderful to have a crowd cheering the girls on and celebrating with them at the final whistle.
Trainers, Ms Hickey, Ms Denieffe and Vera Bolger are so proud of the girls and would like to thank them for their hard work, brilliant attitude and enthusiasm. They have been an absolute pleasure to train this year. We look forward to next year's Cumann na mBunscol matches and wish our 6th Class girls the very best of luck in their football careers in the future! Comhghairdeas!!
