Our Girls’ Cumann na mBunscol team have had an incredible year. Unfortunately the result didn’t go our way today, losing out by a single point. The girls showed amazing character, talent, belief and fight as they fought tirelessly in today’s match. Mrs Smith, Ms Denieffe, Vera and all the school staff and students are immensely proud of our girls’ team. The team have worked so hard and brought brilliant enthusiasm and fun to our matches and training sessions since the beginning of the year. We have no doubt that these girls will be playing in O’Moore Park again in the future for their school, their club and maybe even their county!
The boys football team had a tough day at O'Moore Park too, losing to Killenard in the Roinn 1 final.
They fought hard in difficult conditions but unfortunately it wasn't their day.
The management team of Mr. Murphy, Mr. Deering and Mr. Ball would like to say that they are extremely proud of the boys. They had a fantastic, positive attitude right from the start and were a pleasure to work with.
Thanks to everyone who came to support today.
