Exciting News from Our Green Schools Committee!

Yesterday, three of our fantastic students proudly represented our school at the Green Schools Award Ceremony in Hotel Kilkenny, where we were officially presented with our 8th Green Flag, this time for the Marine Environment!

The hard work of the entire committee was recognised and praised at the ceremony, with special mention given to the creativity and passion shown in our school’s Green Schools song. It was a proud moment for all involved!

The three student representatives had a fabulous day, enjoying the celebrations and a lovely meal, and returned full of enthusiasm and pride.

The Green Schools Committee are now busy planning a special flag raising ceremony here at school so that the whole school community can come together to celebrate this amazing achievement.
