Over the last few weeks Ms Cooney’s 6th Class have been busy organising and collecting food donations for St Clare’s Christmas Food Appeal.
On Friday, Fr Dunphy and a volunteer from St Clare’s came and collected the donations. These are being combined with donations from local families and businesses to create hampers for those in need. The 6th Class students would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who contributed to this wonderful cause. They are completely overwhelmed with the response and generosity of Killeshin NS families.
A special mention to Ms Cooney and students; Kyle Kinsella, Faye Brennan, Eleana Rice, Mia Scully, Maia Fitzgerald, Sadhbh Byrne, Éabha Rogers and Jason Otolorin who went above and beyond for the cause.
