Last Friday morning all our pupils and staff gathered togerher to celebrate the fact that our school is an environmentally friendly school. We were awarded our 7th Green Flag for all our hard work on Global Citizenship and Energy. This is a fantastic achievement and we are very proud of our Green schools committee for all of their hard work. We would like to say a special thank you to Ms Keating for all her effort in coordinating our Green Schools Committee.
The Green-Schools programme is a whole school programme, awarded to all of the children, parents, teachers and staff of Scoil Chomhgháin Naofa. The Green-Schools programme requires everyone’s effort and hard work so well done to you all! We are very grateful.
This year’s committee was made up of the following pupils.
2nd class: Freya and Cathal, Dónal and Lorcan
3rd class : Lily and Aaron, Ciarán and Polly
4th class: Sarah and Cathal, Éabha and Riley
5th Class : Eppie Mae, Rian, Niamh, Kacie and Harry
6th Class: Fiacc and Caoimhe, Katie and Logan
